Brilliant cinematography and direction and great use of location. Full of adrenaline and if ya want a buzz watch this. The type of movie that will turn up on theatre in a few years that you'll love and wonder why you haven't seen it before. A decent muscular action thriller. Kitsch is literally having a blast. However the twists are choreographed and I doubt many people will be sympathetic with the notion that it is alright to be a rotten cop as the pay is so lousy. Viren Keshav showed glimpses of just how good he could had been with better material. Shobhraj also acted very well in this movie.

Cinematography and it's powerful visuals is the another strong aspect and also the movie is shot in some of the very beautiful locations and is been captured nicely. This witty action scenes instills all sorts of emotions in you. It includes light suspence which is always showcased in the right time and place; however, it is also pretty emotional in some parts. The plot did lose me for a minute somewhere in the middle with loyalties changing but it was explained soon after. Overall in my opinion this is the best movie of the year and a must watch. The idea of the movie was fantastic, screenplay and direction let down the movie so much. The best part of Cocktail is how it manages to follow the beats of a typical action thriller, while at the same time not being a Non-typical Sci-Fi thriller.

All in All - Cocktail is an absolute action ride at the cinemas. A thoroughly engaging nontypical crime thriller. It will give you the engaging, the kicks, the rush and the high. Exactly what a good movie is supposed to do. All actors did their part well. Especially Shobhraj. His presence elevates the movie and gives it the credibility that it needs, which it uses fully.

Wow whatta movie. Went to theatre trusting few reviews and this movie turned out to be a blast. It had action, great satire, very different scence, great storyline and a twist in the climax which India is waiting for many years. Fantastic acting by Viren Keshav. Actress also done well.

This movie is the best Kannada movie with original screenplay in last 2 years. Lead Actor brought back my faith in action movies. Kudos to Director too for keeping the audience engaged throughout the movie with some kind of dark touch.

You can easily put the origins of this to one side and enjoy a piece of cinema that is still unique in many ways. The central performance from Viren Keshav and Charishma Chondamma is delightful, the supporting roles just as good and the messages and meanings as intense as any, from a film that asks you to consider the way you perceive and see the world, and whether there might be anything you can do to make it better for those around you. It's the story of a man, who didn't have a master plan, took each day as it was given, if you erred you'd be forgiven, loved his actions and his acting, didn't fake, feign or pretend, full of action and dedication, reverence and adoration.

Well, Viren Keshaav makes it much better than that! He really was one heck of an actor! And he make his character, Shobhraaj, really smoke on the screen! I'd have loved to see a sequel with this character. The directing was on point, the casting great, and the run-time and pacing perfect. After long time, a peaceful and much thrilled movie.. Story, Screenplay and dialogues and technical team gave 100%. Very fresh story and interesting and composing scenes are soo good... Good Sci-Fi action, classic cop movie and really liked Viren Keshav character. Worth a watch with lots of twists. Action sequences were great and would recommend. Even the criminals think this whole thing was a set up. Lots of suspense. Who's really behind all this? Gotta overlook a couple things, but overall it's pretty good! If you can put up with this heavy-handed dialogue in Cocktail , then you'll enjoy the action:But perhaps it either needed to go a little smaller in scale with a tighter script or way bigger with bigger names in front of the camera and a slicker feel. Usual story with an unexpected and mind blowing screenplay. Do watch this or dont repent later. Keeps you engaged throughout, Very watchable but equally predictable, sadly. The twists were telegraphed, but it didn't detract from the entertainment and ashwin was excellent throughout. Overall this was a pretty good action thriller. While the storyline was a bit simplistic and commercial aspects, the execution was top notch. Viren Keshav played the part of hardened cop really well, and the supporting characters held their own. The storyline had good flow and kept up a good pace throughout. Enjoyable and worth the time to watch. Anyway. It's a good popcorn eating action movie.

This movie deserves Good rating rating. It is a very beautiful movie. Not able to understand why it is rated so low. I saw it on theatre and I was surprised with the quality of this movie. I enjoyed it more than I thought. I don't think there are many things that will be open or rather not openly foreseeable for most of the viewers. I did have one character reveal that I did not think about, but other than that ... But as it is, this movie works as a thriller, even when you know what's up. Good one. The intrigue rachets up as you go along and things are clearly not as they seem. The revelation at the end is a tad implausible though and can be seen well before the end. But to be a real good movie, and by that I mean one I would watch again, the story can't be so predictable you can see it coming from miles away. It's watchable on the first viewing,Actually, despite having a strong cast, the film never really goes anywhere and just provides a somewhat decent endeavor, but nothing grand nor ingeniously made to similar projects out there. It's the sort of story you can see coming from a mile away, but it is fast paced and pretty relentless in the telling of it, making it entertaining and very watchable. Lots of Interesting and good scenes, action fans will appreciate it. Loved the time limit placed on the characters, Shobhraj is great.

The climax twist is ultimate and the message is most welcome...Despite its many narrative flaws, Coctail ends up being an impactful watch because of the social message that it carries and ultimately portrays with nuance and subtletyy.

I havent seen any other kannada films this year but this film certainly makes me want to see more of then. I can talk about this movie all day. The movie was engaging. And the theme shifts in the 2nd half which was unpredictable and very entertaining with the tone of the film but filled with crime and actions. Few aspects were repetitive and unreal so but I just can't remember watching a such an awesome action flick in a long time.

The theatre had only some people in the audience including me but experience was simply amazing Viren Keshav and the BGM were brilliant. The Twists and screenplay were on point almost every time. Villain character was weird but it was essential for the movie.

Finally, I have to say that "Cocktail" is a nice and interesting action movie consisted of some unpredictable plot twists so, I highly recommend everyone to watch it because I am sure you will enjoy it. KGF, Kantara, Vedha If you like any of those movies, you're definitely in the right place. Unfortunately it's missing something which is rather elusive...The camera barely even brings him into focus, you've got a cast who all performed well but none really stood out. Great cast not boring and convincing performances, impressive camera work outside the some scene with the white gloves. I highly recommend.
