When Saul arrives to bury Nazir, the camera shows the helicopter approaching a battleship or a heavy cruiser. Later, when the body is dropped, the ship they are on is an aircraft carrier.
Military members, especially generals, never salute a congressman.
Per traditional Islamic ceremony, an imam carefully washes and prepares Abu Nazir's body for burial. However, also according to Islamic tradition, a burial at sea is not acceptable when other forms of burial are readily available.
Note: When Osama bin Laden was killed he was buried at sea because the U.S. made the decision to avoid bin Laden's grave from becoming an important symbol to his followers. This same reason could explain Abu Nazir's burial at sea.

After the bomb explodes, when Carrie and Brody are trying to run away, Carrie opens a door with a metallic handle but doesn't react, while the handle should've been burning hot since there was a fire on the other side of the door.
When Saul travels to see Abu Nazir buried at sea, the stock footage used appears to be from Under Siege (1992) and shows a Sea Knight helicopter approaching an 'Iowa' class battleship. These have not been used by the US Navy for many years and all 4 vessels are now museum ships docked in ports around the USA - there are no more battleships in service in the US Navy. The actual shots of the burial at sea show an aircraft carrier presumably 'mothballed' in port in North Carolina where the series is shot.
When Saul is standing besides the imam on board of the ship, watching Abu Nazir's embalming, the cable of the boom mike is briefly visible top left in the frame.
