Adapted from a chronicle of the same title written by Fernando Bonassi, a well-known Brazilian writer and also one of the screenwriters of Brazilian feature film "Carandiru", directed by Hector Babenco, released in 2003. The chronicle consisted of a few lines, it barely fit half a page.
For a year the director searched for musics to use in the short film "Make Your Choice". In early 2005 the director watched two movies, Kubrick's "2001" and "The Thomas Crown Affair", from which respectively he found the songs "On A Bicycle Built For Two", sang by Nat King Cole, and "Sinnerman", by Nina Simone.
