I wouldn't have done a second series.
There we go, I've said it. I love this franchise, don't get me wrong, but the first series ended nicely- Scott was Santa again and had a greater appreciation for it. Yes, it was a bit of a themeactic retread of the 3rd film, but the ending was a darn sight better.
By going again with a 2nd series you instantly put yourself at risk of unravelling a neat bow.
How many times can an evil person try to take over the North Pole for example? There's a certain amount of plot rehashing going on, when really I just want to see Scott Calvin be Santa.
I hope it improves, but there's been a dip.
