- A torture scene is replayed during the "previously on" segment. A man slowly pushes a blade into Oliver's side. A man shoots Adam Hunt three times in the chest. The arrows protruding from his chest are visible, but no blood is visible at the time. Later, his body is shown, and both arrows and blood are visible. Oliver cuts Diggle with a knife while they are sparring. Neither blood nor the wound is visible. Oliver punches a man during a flashback. The man has an arrow in his chest (no blood is visible). Yao Fei asks Oliver if he wants to kill the man. As he is walking down an alleyway, a man is shot in the back with an arrow. The arrow protrudes through his chest and there is visible blood. Yao Fei and the man who tortured Oliver get into a hand-to-hand fight. The torturer hits Yao Fei across the face with his sword. No blood is visible. There is a some gunfire from other thugs during the fight. The unknown archer shoots Oliver in the leg and twice in the back, kicks him through several wooden barriers, breaks his wrist audibly, and then begins kicking him in the chest while he's down. Oliver then stabs him with an arrow and knocks him out with a blow to the face.

- Oliver goes into a hideout, gets locked in, and sees a bomb about to go off. The bomb explodes and he barely makes it out without getting hurt. Oliver breaks two arrow shafts off of his back by leveraging them against a wall. He screams.
