Things not what they seem

In this Blue Bloods story Donnie Wahlberg gets put on bodyguard duty for a key witness in one of his sister Bridget Moynahan's cases. The witness is Reg Rogers a very high priced fashion photographer. He lives the life of the rich and famous and he's a witness in the death of a young girl at an upscale party who overdoses on drugs sold her by a society doctor Jon Patrick Walker. There are a few attempts on the life of Rogers, the last one particularly close to home in more ways than one.

Will Estes has an interesting experience with his partner Sebastian Sozzi who fancies himself a lady's man. He certainly was thinking below decks when Savannah Wise steers the pair out of concern for her young son to a major drug bust. Let's say that Wise was not all she seemed.

The other plot element involved Len Cariou being forced to give up his driver's license because of a few minor scrapes that the family is concerned could lead to a major one. I really identified with this story. My uncle who died at age 96 two years ago was forced as he approached 90 to give his license up for the same safety reasons, his reflexes just not being what they are. Unless you live in a city with things like shopping, maybe a favorite hangout within walking distance giving up that car effectively makes you a prisoner in your own home. No one wants that, but it's something old age sometimes imposes.

Nicely stories in this episode.
