Very entertaining but Kapil needs to stop rushing through with the episode.

The Kapil Sharma Show continues to entertain despite all the obstacles coming its way. Kapil Sharma has always had the habit of talking fast because of his belief that the energy level of the act has to be kept high in order to keep the viewers engaged, but why does he have to rush through the proceedings? It almost feels like he doesn't really care about the answers given by the guests and it's all a formality for him. I completely agree that people get bored easily and their attention span has also reduced in the last few years, but Kapil Sharma is an established comedian who is loved by almost everyone, so he can afford to slow down a bit and conduct proper interviews with his guests, like Jimmy Kimmel, Graham Norton, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers and Conan O'Brien. Something definitely seems off with Kapil, because he doesn't look excited to do this show anymore; in fact he delivers every single dialogue with the same expression and it's not a happy one. Even when he smiles, it feels like a forced one. It seems something is taking a toll on him; either the filming of back to back shows or the fact that his show is falling apart, with comedians walking out every now and then, with Siddharth Sagar being the latest one.

Kapil Sharma Show works best when Kapil interviews his guests, without any interruptions from anyone, because it allows the guests to actively involve themselves in the show and of course Kapil has always had the gift of being a spontaneous comedian. In this episode, it started off great with Kapil interacting with the Sharks, but then the show moved on to the other segments of the show and never went back to having an actual conversation with the Sharks. More often than not, it felt as if the Sharks were eager to say something but Kapil was more interested in wrapping up the episode. Sumona has always been a weak point of the show but now her segment has become unbearable, especially with the entry of Kapil's mother-in-law. The banter between Kapil and Sumona was fun to watch but the conversation between Sumona and her mother is plain boring; they should really do away with that segment.

The Instagram comment segment or the unofficial roasting session is always fun to watch and this episode wasn't any different; I just wish Kapil allowed the guests to say a few things in between, because in the rush to finish things up Kapil was knowingly or unknowingly ignoring them. Gudiya Laundry segment was fantastic as always with the amazing Kiku Sharda throwing in punch after punch with perfect timing. I don't know why but Kiku Sharda seems to be the most underappreciated comedian in Kapil's show despite being it's backbone for so many years. Kiku is at par with Sunil Grover and Krishna Abhishek as far as comic talent is concerned, but the spotlight rarely falls on him.

The Rajiv Thakur roasting segment was once again very entertaining, and for once he got a chance of completing his sentences. That segment was written very well. This episode not only featured the Sharks but also famous stand-up comedian Rahul Dua, who also happens to be the host of Shark Tank India. Rahul Dua's presence showed what kind of value he brings to a show if his skills get utilized correctly. Shark Tank doesn't really need a host, but Kapil's show stands to gain a lot by getting on board a few comedians like Rahul. Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Sugandha Mishra, Chandan Prabhakar, Krishna Abhishek, Sudesh Lehri, Bharti Singh and now Siddharth Sagar have parted ways with the show; how many more comedians need to leave before Kapil realizes that he needs to find a new Producer and change the way things work on his show?

The audience question answer round has always been a boring one, but for some reason the creative team does not think so. The questions are given to the people by the production team of the show and sometimes the people asking the questions are actually crew members, and on top of that not a single one of them is interesting. Instead of wasting time there, Kapil should have interacted with the Sharks and asked them about this season's investments. Vineeta Singh turned out to be quite a revelation in the interview with Tanmay Bhat and Rohan Joshi, but here she was a mere spectator just like the other Sharks, which was very disappointing to watch.

Finally, of course it needs to be said that Kapil Sharma Show does not need Archana Puran Singh. It's baffling to know that someone is getting paid lakhs of rupees just for sitting and laughing. Interrupting unnecessarily with pointless comments and laughing loudly are not exactly the qualities that should qualify anyone to be a part of a comedy show. Kapil's show is extremely entertaining and always lightens my mood, but there are some problems with it that need to be addressed and resolved.
