Jill, John Silva, Katherine and Mitchell Sherman are reading the report about the fire at the Chancellor Estate. The cause could not be determined what both Jill and Katherine see as a victory for their own agendas. Nina wonders if she's done the right thing when she asked Ryan to take care of Phillip when she's away. Ryan and Tricia reassure her. It's the morning after and Nick feels bad for cheating on Sharon. Sharon is on cloud nine after finally being intimate with her husband again. At the same time, Grace is dreaming of a future with Nick. She then remembers that she has to call Tony who is already worrying that she hasn't landed in Genoa City yet. Paul tells Malcolm that Olivia wanted to hire him to investigate Callie. Later, he goes to Legal Aid and wonders why Christine has all these questions about his parents. Jim reassures Ruth that he is happy and does not need to know about his past. Ruth cannot help wonder, though, and calls Jim "Carl" to which he answers without correcting it... Malcolm tells Neil he just wants to leave the past in the past. Neil thinks his brother is protesting way too much for being completely over Callie. Meanwhile, Callie asks Gina to hire her as a waitress.
