"Captain Planet 3" is the 3rd of so far 4 "Captain Planet" short films starring renowned African-American actor Don Cheadle. As usual, it is a Funnyordie production and runs for under 5 minutes. Unfortunately as with films 1 and 2, the humor is not really that good in my opinion. Cheadle looks spectacular and very funny, but this is sort-of the only memorable aspect of this pretty brief movie from 3 years ago. It makes me actually wonder if we will ever see a new Captain Planet movie. we probably will with the superhero film boom, question is just when. Sadly, these short films are not really a worthy way to spend your time until a "real" movie comes out. Oh well, maybe number 4 is better. Lets see. As for number 3, I do not recommend it, even if the "House of Lies" spoof was decent.
