"Beaver Tails" are basically fried dough that's in the shape of a beaver tail. Traditionally it's served with cinnamon sugar, but cooks at the Winter Festival offer 120other toppings the most popular of which are nutrella and various fruity cereals. The Beaver Tail was invented in 1978 and is considered one of Canada's most delicious snacks.
Maple Taffy is made by ladling maple syrup on fresh snow and rolling a popsicle stick or tongue depressor along the syrup's path to turn the gooey semi-liquid into a taffy pop.
Poutine is a Canadain snack invented in 1957 by a Quebec trucker (or so the story goes) and is made of french fries covered with cheese curds and gravy. The word Poutine is Canadian slang, meaning "A Mess".
