When will this great action-twist stop?
Apelix20 June 2013
Warning: Spoilers
I've been doing a PoI marathon these latest days and I regret I didn't do it earlier...

It was the 1st episode without any numbers to save, which action was the word of the day.

Lots of twists, mainly in the end, made of this episode one of my favorites.

I gotta say I had a hunch about the bomb-vest IMEI unlock number, and I am glad I was right, made me feel I could save John too.

I wasn't expecting Snow to kill Kara and honestly I expected her to live way longer, as one of the main antagonists...too bad, maybe it would be better for the show.

Finally, Harold Finch was the guy selling the laptop? What is going on here? Who's Finch, after all? After so many episodes I still feel I don't know that man.

I hope Nolan doesn't disappoint the fans, because the show is creating a lot of question and huge expectations.

Who Sold the Laptop?
claudio_carvalho24 February 2024
After the accident with Donnelly's SUV caused by Kara Stanton, Carter wakes up in the back seat with a call from Finch. He asks her to leave the place since the FBI is arriving. Reese wakes up in a bus after Stanton drugging him side-by-side of Mark Snow and wearing a vest with explosive. She tells them that they have one last assignment for her. Fusco calls Carter to go to the accident scene and she learns that FBI agent Brian Moss is the substitute for Donnelly. Carter looks for her earring that she lost at the scene and Fusco deliver it to her. Reese and Snow are sent to an apartment to bring a hard drive but one of the man asks for more money. Stanton kills them both through the window using a sniper rifle. Then they assume the identity of two ATF agents, and they head to a bomb threat in a building. The go to the hidden twentieth-first floor where there is a government facility. Soon they learn that Stanton wants to introduce a virus in the government system to destroy the worldwide Internet.

"Dead Reckoning" is a tense episode of "Person of Interest". The return (and end) of Kara Stanton is excellent and the unexpected conclusion is a great surprise. The name of the man who sold the laptop is destroyed with the fire, and Snow is assumed to be the man in suit by the FBI. Now, with Wilma, Donnelly, Snow and Stanton eliminated, the greatest problem to Reese may be HR that wants to resurrect. What is the role of Finch with the laptop is also a question to be responded. My vote is nine.

Non Stop Action All The Way!
ShelbyTMItchell16 March 2013
Warning: Spoilers
As Carter and Reese are being led by doomed agent, FBI's Donnolly as Stanton, an old friend of Reese and partner at the CIA slams into the car, she kills Donnolly as you knew that he could not live had our heroes went to prison. And gives Reese a shot in the neck.

Reese along with Snow awakens as both men are tied with bombs. And that if they do not do what they say, Stanton will blow them and others in NYC up!

As Carter struggles to be released and leaves the scene by Finch who knew that would happened to Donnolly and them but was too late to save him.

She sees an earring missing from her ear and knows when she meets up with Fusco who notices it. She grabs it before the FBI can interrogate her about Donnolly being killed.

Reese and Snow both pose as ATF agents in order to get to a building. In order for Stanton to use her magic on them and to get what she needs. After a bomb threat made them pose as fake ATF agents prior to beating the real ones up.

As Carter does not have time to regroup in order to save Reese and Finch for that matter. As Stanton is being given the name of the undead man's who is a computer genius and has been dead for years. Hence a secret that you all probably are able to figure it out.

Will Carter, Finch, Fusco, etc save the day and help out Reese? As Bear the dog also misses his owner badly. Poor Finch having to take care of Reese's dog while Reese is trying to break out for his freedom?

The end is really totally unexpected but will not give you all the ending due to you all wanting to be surprised. But it does end on a happy note if surprising!

The greatest episode of the show thus far

Warning: Spoilers
I have never been a huge fan of network television. Or, at least, formulaic network television. On networks like CBS you tend to have procedural shows that repeat the same formula episode after episode with slight serialized elements that never really shine. They're just there so people will watch every episode to understand these small moments, rather than watching whatever episode they want. The few cable shows that I enjoy either are hilarious comedies like IASIP, Parks and Rec, or

Warning: Spoilers
I do love this campy show, as so much can be said, yes it is entertainment but think about just how on point it really is with at least the ability to spy on, and you know they do, not just in other countries that control what can be seen heard and passed on to anyone.

In some way you do wonder about Donley (spelled rite???) and hearing he is in danger but was murder by the 1 character cant stand, but if had lived, would he change mind a bit, but dead end wondering. John s "friend", who would be enemy ??? Did he have regrets, before climbing into back seat her car ?, prob not.

Best part, DING DONG THE B____ is gone, ,,,the actress did a good job of making me hate her charater, as even Shaw was a more human character than Kara ever was, as for Snow, ehh character, added bits to show, though maybe that was the ehh.
