- Macy is miserable after the falling out with her mother. Connor informs her that Anthony wants to take care of that just as they speak. Macy fears that he is wasting his time. Sally is indeed highly reluctant to talk to Anthony about their personal affairs. He tries to make her understand that her daughter did not deliberately betray her. Sally remains unforgiving; she thinks that Macy who did not want Anthony until Thorne actually filed for divorce used her youth and beauty to steal him from her. Sheila assures Mike that she did not kill Dr. Garvin - and that no one saw her at his office. Brooke arrives and notices that Sheila seems frazzled. Sheila claims that a computer glitch kept her busy all morning. James and Stephanie are stunned to learn that Dr. Garvin is dead. At first, they keep silent about the cause for James' visit with the late doctor, though. On Stephanie's urging James then reveals that he wanted to speak to Jay about Sheila. With James stating that Jay was alive when he left, Lt. Burke ends the interrogation and exits. James calls Brooke to inform her that he seems to be a suspect in a murder investigation. Partially overhearing the phone call, Sheila is thrilled to have outsmarted everyone because there are not traces that lead to her and her secrets. Suddenly, Lt. Burke shows up.—Torsten B. Tomaschek
