"Supanatural" is a 23-minute animated short film from 2013 and as this is basically a pilot episode for something that could have been a series, it is relatively safe to say now, almost five years later, that this will not get picked up apparently. The director is Mark Brooks and he probably not as much to blame as the writing trio for this being a failure for the most part. I did not enjoy the watch too much. It is basically about two trailer park trash women that act as if they were queens and what happens when they get into possession of the famous crystal skull, so it's not even particularly original as this Indiana Jones reference is basically recurring from start to finish. I think there were 1 or 2 moments max that made me smile a bit and nothing that would make me really laugh. The characters are gimmicky and over-the-top, but never smart or witty. There's no way I can give this a thumbs-up. It may be true that there are television shows airing right now that are as bad as this one, but that fact does not make this one any better. Watch something else instead and I guess Amazon made the correct decision here to cancel this one right away. Final note: Most known voice cast member here for me is Kristen Schaal, who I genuinely enjoy (at times) on TLMoE.
