Bin Laden's Escape (2005)
** 1/2 (out of 4)
Janine DiGiovanni (London Times War Correspondent), Peter Bergen (CNN Terror Expert), John Miller (former ABC New Correspondent), Michael Scheuer (former Chief CIA Bin Laden Unit), Philip Smucker (War Correspondent) and Gene Wheaton (former Defense Department Agent) are interviewed about the various escapes that Bin Laden had after the 9/11 attacks.
The main focus of this documentary is to try and track where Bin Laden went after the attacks but considering no one really knew, the documentary is somewhat pointless. It's more of a guessing game as those interview talk about what they were hearing from officials on the whereabouts of Bin Laden but we also get to hear from the last reporter who got to interview him on camera.
For the most part this is a mildly entertaining documentary but at the same time I must admit that it's really not all that involving. While there's a lot of information given out there's just nothing here that makes it a classic and considering what has happened since, the documentary is also somewhat out of date.
