Well, I kinda discovered Adventure Time after hearing quite a lot about it for years in the last month and I've been ploughing easily through the seasons since then for about four weeks. And today I got to near the start of season five. Yeah, it's that Star Trek episode done again, but in cartoon form. In ten minutes. And it's pretty much a perfect distillation and right now I don't reckon I'm much good for anything else this evening and it was my fiftieth birthday last week and I think I'll have an early night now. It's definitely a cartoon and it's almost certainly meant for children but it just has that light about it that there isn't enough darkness in the universe to extinguish so, grab your friends and go to very distant lands, together!

best episode of adventure time

I've been a big fan of adventure time and this episode is my favorite. Its incredible how quickly you care for the characters in the 10 minute episode. I was watching this episode alone and expecting a normal funny episode but once the episode was finished it was like finishing a massive TV series and just sitting there like "wow". Make sure to listen to Jake's advice to Finn near the start. all in all it was a true display of the series brilliance and is one i'll remember for a while.
I think I get the theme but not the hype

I believe this episode is about the theme of not getting too caught up in the realities we create in our heads. It can all seem so important, like an entire life or family in Pillowland, but it's ultimately not as real or important as we make it out to be, like how Finn wakes up and Flame Princess confirms Finn's thought process was off base and no break up occurs.
I liked this, but I don't get why the episode is hyped up in ratings and such. Maybe I didn't actually understand or maybe the theme just didn't connect with me. Still, great humor and storytelling very fun and other words that'll help me meet the character limit.

Random yet enjoyable episode

I have not watched much adventure time before yet I highly recommend watching this episode whether you are an adventure time fan or not.
It is amazing how in-depth and entertaining this episode is and all in just a short space of 10 minutes. If you have a spare 10 minutes watch this episode for a guareented enjoyable watch. I love how random it is and it the alternate pillow land reminds me of wizard of oz.
Very good use of pillow puns throughout the episode.
It is also very funny and I laughed out loud when the pillow king said "I'll give your compliments to the pillow" it has great comedy. Random yet thoroughly enjoyable episode
