Acting is, as expected, very bad. Sunny Wayne over-acts to zenith with his character being equivocal. Ninnem Kollum Njaanum Chaavum is a very bad movie not worth your precious time. Okay, even if you are an avid movie-holic, NKNC is not at all amusing, let alone entertaining.
Starts with what could be easily dubbed as the first 1 hour of the Bollywood cult Dil Chahta Hai (2001). It has no specific aim till that point. Afterwards, it is just boring crap about how a bunch of drunk men act dumb & get laid. What follows is a vivid, but monotonous plot about infidelity, AIDS & relationships. The twist near the end of the movie is one scene which enthuses. And with some mediocre humor by the Indrajith lookalike, Nee Ko Nja Cha is pure gimmick. Boring & gaudy! Over-smartness has its origin from this movie.
It is high time that new Malayalam filmmakers do not attempt to mimic successful coming-of-age directors. Just including English profanity, sex, nudity, cleavages, sexually embarrassing moments & dirty humor is not going to work anymore. The foundation here is wicked.
3.4/10 for the underlying message & unpredictable twist which refers to Cinema Company (2012).
BOTTOM LINE: NKNC is not a cinema worth spending some bucks on. If you get a copy of it for FREE, watch it!
