Lukács Bicskey, the well-known Hungarian actor, accepted the film role without receiving any remuneration.
This was the first directorial work of Márton Mészáros Navarrai, who wrote and directed the film at the age of 16, and the success of the short film made his name widely known.
"At the age of fifteen, I was asked to play the main role in a short film. We shot for one day with a mostly amateur team. This was the first break, it messed up my plans that had seemed fixed until then," said Sam Puskás, who played in the film under his Hungarian name, Samu Puskás, to the Hungarian portal Kultura.hu, in an interview made in 2021.
