This episode had way too much of the "you'd understand if you were a motherrrrrrr"-cult writing the script. It got so annoying in the end I cut the episode short. Which has never happened before on this show for me. Usually I love the episodes, some are gold some are less, but all in all it's good entertainment.
This time it just seemed like propaganda in the end. Like mothers are the be all and end all of the entire universe... As if you have to have children in order to understand basic logic because there are kids involved... I facepalmed.
Also, can I just point out one concrete thing? This woman left her kids for the cops to find because she knew she couldn't get away. Fair enough, but that's the basic logic part. You don't have to be a mom to figure that great strategy out. But she left the kids IN HER CAR, in the middle of the day in Hawai'i... With the window up and no sign of the engine running to fuel the aircon.
That's SOME faith in the cops coming quickly enough for her kids not to die from heat stroke. Well done, mother of the year.
