I would like to just clarify that this review is my own personal opinion and although I understand that everyone's opinion vary I just wanted for users to get an understanding of this anime through my perspective. If you are an anime fan or even if your not in order to convey what I think is a good anime I will give a few examples of highest-lowest anime
Highest-Code Geass/Death Note 2-Joint) Hajime No Ippo/Attack of the titan-(shingeki no kyojin) /A Town Where You Live 3-Joint) Dragon Ball series/Naruto-the fillers/Gundam series
Lowest- One piece/Katekyo Hit-man Reborn/ Queens blade
I know a lot people will not agree with what I classify as low but its is my own personal my and if had to give a reason--explanation eg.. ONE PIECE, I personally think its to childish I honestly did give it a shot but to no avail., anyways enough about that back to more important things!
Firstly I would like to start by saying that I would consider my self an anime fan and I have watched pretty much a lot of anime but surprisingly I have never watched a romantic anime as good as A town where you live aka "Kimi no Iru Machi". It is fair to say that this anime exceeded my expectations, and then some, I have rarely seen an anime that excels on all points till I watched this anime, from the animation which is absolutely flawless, to the plot, the character development, the emotions and the general pacing.
The general jest of this anime is about two star-crossed lovers who undergo a lot of heartache and drama despite everything, and without giving too much away you really have to watch it to believe it. This anime truly has power to glue you to seat literary because of enormous cliff-hangers which will always make keep coming back, and honestly the only downside to this anime in my opinion is that its two short, but that's to be expected because the material in the manga only left enough room for that many episodes. I have to say though in general this is by far the best romantic anime I have seen till this date and I im talking better than (Clannad) and I am absolutely certain that the majority of people that give this anime a shot will not only thoroughly enjoy it but LOVE IT!
