Gets really boring, really fast
archin9620 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This movie starts off with some jokes like all punjabi movies.

Then tries to show that all men are in punjab except for the main lead in this movie are disrespectful towards women. This is including a judge in a court. There are some men that are disrespectful the majority respect women.

The majority of the movie is just trying to show how men do not respect women. This part of the movie becomes incredibly boring really fast.

The actual story part of the movie is no longer then 30 mins regarding a court case. The case gets resolved way too easily by video that gets produced out of thin air which is used as evidence.

A feminist propaganda film
vishalfrombombay27 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
In a nutshell: All male characters (except the hero) are sexual predators and they are looking to take advantage of all women they encounter in this movie. Coincidentally, our hero (Gippy) is the odd man out here.

But just to make a social message driven movie, one can't paint everyone with the same brush. Infact you are intentionally portraying one set of humans (males) as mainly villains. Are we saying that all women are victims and not one of them are perpetrators? Would these film creators have the guts to make a movie where all the women are perpetrators and males are the victims in the same story?

Yes, women are usually the victims in the real world, and we do need reel movies where this topic is covered sensitively. But overemphasizing this point only turns this movie into an all out feminist propaganda film.
