The final mission after 14 seasons!
Saving2122 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
So after 14 seasons NCIS LA is coming to an end. I saw some people wanting it to continue but to me it was about time. For the past 3 seasons the show became shadow of its former self. There was no fun anymore, the actors themselves looked tired. And let's not forget the greatness of this show was the teamwork of the four agents working together Callen&Sam/Kensi&Deeks. But ever since covid showed up we barely saw all of them in one scene.

The final episode was fun not great but fun and good final for the show and the characters. I loved that we had the main 4 in action. But I wished we had one scene of the fabulous four together. I thought finishing with Callen wedding was nice closer, as the show started with him and his journey. I loved that Linda showed up even if it was just her voice, we needed Hetty one way or another. Kensi pregnant was beautiful.

The final scene with Callen&Sam going to another adventure with old friends was fitting ending with the bromance.

Goodbye NCIS LA .

Series Finale
bobcobb30126 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I still remember talking about NCIS: Los Angeles with people in college. The days of shows still on the air that were on when I was at university gets smaller and smaller.

This wasn't perfect, but this was a good series finale. The right amount of action, the right amount of emotional moments both with Kensi and Deeks and Sam and Callen, and then they even set the stage for the next journey with those two on a mission overseas.

At least they got a letter and a voiceover from Hetty, but it is sad they could not bring her back for a final appearance.

But this was well done and I am already missing having this show on the air.

This is terrible it can't end
lbowdls14 August 2023
NCIS L. A is my favourite of all the NCIS shows and I am devastated by it ending and especially ending in this way.

I fell in love with this show early on due to the characters and above all Linda Hunt's character of Hetty. When she left I thought about not watching anymore but it's still such a great show.

But very disappointed that - although they kept the memory of Hetty alive - they actually didn't have her come back for the finale (Not sure if Linda Hunt didn't want to return but I can't imagine that she couldn't do even the smallest of cameos) And to be so close to looking and finding her- left up in the air. We've got to at least be given a film version to end up the loose ends- please.

Feel so bad never to see a new episode again.

Is that a wrap on the series?
daveozs22 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Okay, so they wrapped up the regular weapons plot that is standard for the series. They made it seem like a big narrative or new villain, but that wasn't the case. Then they moved on to the wrapping up of a lot of pending storylines. The pregnancy, the lawsuit, the wedding. And Hetty, Nate, Nell, Sabotino. Beale only got a side mention. Seems like they wanted to give everyone a send off and a chance to say goodbye. Did I miss a series cancellation notice? I'm not sure if the creative piers that be are worried about loose ends, but if this was it, it was a good send-off. It felt a bit like the end of NCIS New Orleans, but that show was known to be ending.

Unless there's a spin off coming with that "ready for the next adventure" line at the end.

"New Beginnings, Part 2"
allmoviesfan7 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
And so we reach the end of fourteen seasons of NCIS: Los Angeles and it is as I feared: no Hetty. Well, we got her voice at least. And happily ever after's for the majority of the characters we have come to know and love: particularly Callen and Anna and Deeks and Kensi . And maybe - just maybe - Arkady and Mama Deeks as well.

Just when you thought it was all over, Sam and Callen head for Morocco at the behest of Hetty (plane tickets came with her congratulatory letter to Callen and Anna) and there the duo reunite with Nell (but not Beale, who is giving a Ted Talk in Singapore) with her new team, comprising of a New Guy and two old guys: Sabatino and Nate. Cool to see those faces one last time, all of the saddling up to help Hetty out of a fix. Now, where have I heard that one before?

A good finale to a fun show (the last few episodes are reminders of how good it was at it's creative peak), providing closure but also a reminder that the NCIS: Los Angeles universe will continue on, off-screen.

And you know for sure they got Hetty out...

NCIS: Morocco, anyone?
cpotato101023 May 2023
Or, to crib from previous CBS Criminal Minds and FBI shows, NCIS: Beyond Borders, or NCIS: International. Definitely, if it would include the "Nellverine" Renée Felice Smith.

OK, going out with a little more than a whimper, but certainly less than a bang.

Unfortunately, more in keeping with the rest of season 14. Nowhere near the level of action as previous season.

One plus, a final reteaming of Sam and G, which had been missing for much of the season.

Left off this episode was any kind of wrap-up with Sam's father, or Kilbride's son. Not that they were greatly missed, but why bring up these side-plots if they simply trail off to nothing?

Series finale but the jury is still out.
CrimeDrama111 June 2023
Nothing truly surprising in the series finale except the final scenes in...Morocco. However, I can't find any "upcoming projects" with any of the actors in the final scenes. There is nothing else that leads me to believe a new series is in the works.

Not a big fan of CBS crime dramas anyway so I am not holding my breath for NCIS: Morocco or whatever CBS calls it. My guess is it will be offered through Paramount Plus and not on cable or satellite TV, which is one of the dumbest business decisions ever. "SEAL Team" is a great example. I stopped watching that show as soon as the switch happened. I am over it.

Not a finale
wwwrohantd11 November 2023
It doesnt look like other season finales.they were not in any danger.we see wedding finales in mentalist bones according to hawaii Hetty is rescued. That means their could be not being good NCIS:ELITE.more undercover, covert, trade craft operations. Other ncis shows were police procedural.in every other finale episode felt danger and death situations compared it to other it was easy.here we have a SPY,NAVY SEAL, SNIPER,UNDERCOVER COP.if they include nell we have a HACKER.definitely they are not going ask permission. They have most badass characters they are definitely not waiting for a warrant. They are rule breakers.
