"Ghost Father of the Bride" had a little bit of fun and whimsical nature behind it, but the show is still just missing the mark far more often than it is hitting it these days. I feel like they don't know how to create compelling drama with the ghosts and the plotlines get more and more absurd by the day.
Still, it is an easy to watch the show and I am proud that CBS is finally trying to be a bit more adventurous with the kind of comedies we are getting. Sure, we are still getting the same old laugh track multi-cam ones, but shows like this feel like they could be on Showtime or something, so that's progress.
