With no arrogance at all, I felt that the director took lot of liberty for nothing. He thought he could deliver core emotional drama packed with action by doing too easy to guess plot and lot of repeated dialogues for no reason. It felt instead of focusing on drama it went more about world building. And to be honest its boring. None of the locations look real. And most importantly all the actors did fine job but on the over the top plot. It's so reckless of the writer, director and producer for extent. They could have bring much better product having all the star cast and crew. A big yawn at the end of the day.

This movie feels like déjà vu with its overly simple storyline that brings nothing new to the table. We've definitely witnessed this plot somewhere before. The screenplay tries to be a trailblazer in Telugu cinema, but it's like trying to make a sandwich with just one slice of bread - not very satisfying. The first half-hour is a snoozefest, the last half-hour manages to redeem the film a bit, and the middle is just meh.

Venkatesh's character is like a well-cooked dish - written properly with a side of great looks and a dash of impressive performance.

Navazuddin as antagonist is the spice we needed; his performance is like a firecracker. Arya and Shradda are like those tasty appetizers you wish you had more of - limited screen space, but they deliver.

The child actor Baby Sara and the rest of the cast are like the supporting actors in a play - doing their job well without stealing the spotlight.

Cinematography and background score play nice, but the songs are like a bad karaoke night - better skipped. The action sequences are a rollercoaster of thrills, but it gets a tad too violent.

Sailesh's direction is a mixed bag - some scenes are like a chef's kiss, while others leave you wondering if they used salt.

Watching this in theaters might not be the best use of your time, but if you're patient, it could be an okay OTT watch.

Hi guys, I was watched the movie in the day it was released.. I went to the movie to have a Action pack of Sailesh Kolanu's way he done HIT series but seriously I totally disappointed 😔, Yes the story is Good! Taking out the different concepts is not a matter but doing n execute it ina way people like is the thing!! Sailesh went here.. From the initial beginning it went good wid story but by the pre interval & interval portion everyone wil think.. IS IT INTERVAl 👀 Along side the 2nd half was just overhyping !!

One thing I loved about this file was Emotions &diff concept Didn't expect this much of dullness theatre experience from Sailesh.. looking forward to come back wid rock hit..

Seriously, what a downfall of Sailesh Kolanu From HIT: The First Case to Saindhav! Saindhav is a cliched movie with cliched characters, cliched treatment, and cliched storytelling in a cliched setup.

I remember coming out of HIT: The Second Case's premier show with bit of a disappointment. But, now in comparison with Saindhav, it seems like an absolute masterpiece.

I don't know why all these young directors make the same mistake of making these outdated scripts when working with the senior actors. I get it that these senior actors have large fan bases, etc., but, you need to understand that these large fan bases have brains too. They dont want outdated content especially when paying premium to get the tickets for the whole family and making an effort to move to the theatres.

I hope and wish Sailesh will comeback with an absolute gem like HIT Chapter 1.

Though the idea of Saindhav is good and has a lot of potential, the director couldn't come up with an interesting narrative. The screenplay is flat for the most part. The world-building isn't done well, and the first half an hour is slow and unexciting. Fights were too violent.

Saindhav has a bunch of great actors, but none of them make any impact due to the way their characterizations are written. Andrea Jeremiah, Shraddha Srinath, Ruhani Sharma, Jisshu Sengupta, Arya, Mukesh Rishi, and Jayaprakash deserved much better roles. There are logical errors in the story as well.

For any action film, the background score is very vital in enhancing the impact. Unfortunately, the background score provided by Santosh Narayanan is pretty bad and hardly adds any value to the film. In fact, the impact of neatly designed action blocks was brought down with the background score. In a few important moments, it was almost non-existent.

Its worst fan service of all hollywood action movies. Director executed every scene in most possible cringe fashion. If cringe needs a standard of reference this movie serves it. John Wick, Nobody, Batman, Breaking Bad what not he blended all possible plots into one big cringe movie and arrogantly declared as an action blockbuster. Potentiality of Venky mama is totally wasted. This director is an utter failure but i m really surprised to know that he is the same guy who directed hit movie series. Quite contrast in both works. This is not movie but mockery of action films. Hope he won't go for a sequel to this crap.

A good attempt at blending action and emotion, but the execution could have been better! Venkatesh and Nawaz give good performances but the rest of the cast don't have much to offer. The action scenes are amazing and the cinematography is nice. There were a couple of emotional blocks that deliver, but due to no proper character development, it doesn't create a big impact. The background music by Santosh Narayanan is underwhelming. A better background score could have taken the movie a couple of notches higher. The climax gives a high with good performance from Venkatesh. Overall the movie is a decent watch but not as good as expected!

Saindhav (Victory Venkatesh) has temporarily retired his Saiko avatar to work as a crane operator, supporting his family consisting of a wife and a daughter. There is a cartel illegally training kids by giving them arms and trading them to terrorist outfits. Saiko used to work for this cartel before quitting. After knowing the cartel's dirty operation, Saindhav steals their containers and in the meantime finds out his daughter is suffering from a medical condition which requires an expensive treatment. The story is set up with the baddies wanting the containers and targeting the ailing girl to get it which only allows Saiko to come out of retirement. Bloodshed ensues and how Saiko serves up cold blooded justice forms rest of the story.

Saindhav has the right idea but it falters immensely with the weak screenplay that fails to engage till the end. I wouldn't say overstuffed but it has all the ingredients this particular genre demands to churn out a blockbuster action entertainer. The execution is simply not there as the flow keeps getting jarring and the scene transition end up having no impact. There are bunch of baddies and an over the top Nawazuddin Siddique who tries to entertain throughout but his character arc is messy, a casualty due to the hype lead character gets. For a thriller it's uneven and the baddies are shown to be no match to Saiko even with the setbacks he receives. The dialogues felt weak and too much bloodshed couldn't elevate the bland narrative.

Similar to Liam Neeson kind of action film with emotion. These kind of films need to be encouraged to save Telugu film industry.

The movie takes time in establishing father daughter relationship initially and then plunges into the story.

The scale of the film is huge one can think of numerous ways it can be done.since the action set pieces are the heart of the film.

The main villain of the film is Music director Santosh Narayanan who failed to elevate the well directed scenes with a one of the senior heroes of tollywood industry. Of course he did an average work but few scenes demanded next level of music to bring goosebumps.

"Saindhav," featuring Victory Venkatesh and directed by Sailesh, presents itself as an above-average cinematic experience. Venkatesh's performance adds a layer of depth to the film, elevating it from mediocrity. Sailesh's direction brings a fresh perspective, but the execution falls short of creating a truly exceptional movie.

One of the noticeable aspects is the lackluster music. The soundtrack fails to leave a lasting impression, lacking the memorable tunes that often accompany successful films. While the visuals and storytelling attempt to compensate for this, a more robust musical score could have added emotional resonance to key scenes.

Despite its shortcomings, "Saindhav" manages to find its footing as a decent film for the 2024 Sankranti season. The storyline, though not groundbreaking, weaves together elements that engage the audience. Venkatesh's portrayal of his character adds credibility to the narrative, making it a worthwhile watch for fans of the actor.

The film benefits from its timely release, tapping into the festive spirit of Sankranti. The cultural backdrop and festive atmosphere contribute to the overall appeal, providing a wholesome entertainment option for audiences during the holiday season.

In conclusion, "Saindhav" is a movie that falls into the above-average category, with Victory Venkatesh's commendable performance being a highlight. While the music may not leave a lasting impression, the film manages to hold its own, offering a decent cinematic experience, particularly suited for the 2024 Sankranti period.

Watched movie on first day, with a positive mode the movie is different from other movies where showing some unnecessary flashback with routine formula , but here it is purely different and not a typical mass masala Telugu movie ,starting from the entry scenes it completely stand away from our routine movies, Venkatesh done his job , applause to nawazuddin and Andrea, Arya was week here, and watching Mukesh rushi in same intensity and same cutout from last 25 years is purely good, but here negative comes little bit lag in first half n hour, and emotional has not reached upto venky mama level, At good try , music could be better Same as Vikram, better than jailer,

Chup kar, Ben Stokes! Teri maa ki! Loveday! BoseDK! Nawaz bhai mass in Telugu cinema! Enjoyed it so much.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui killed it, man. This is his show. What an absolutely marvelous dialogue delivery. I hope Telugu audience takes note of him. He is a stand out in terms of how entertaining his character is and how great his performance is. He is an ANIMAL in this film. He even laughs like one. He is many steps above his character in Salman Khan's Kick and it's commendable how he feels very different from most of his characters in Hindi cinema. I am telling you, the humour that his character brings is great. At one point, he pokes fun at a supporting character hyping up the hero and calls out the repetitive hero elevations in these kind of movies. It is hilarious.

This feels like a comic book film. The villain is over the top like the Joker, there is a Batmobile/Bond car, there is a decapitated human head served on a plate. Nawaz's Vikas sniffs the head and comments how good the head smells after he killed him. This film could have easily been set in Gotham haha because it turns into a vigilante film when it comments on the greed of big pharma letting children die. Atleast it feels like Tollywood made its own LCU style movie with the same quality. I knew I shouldn't have doubted the director of HIT movies. He knows what he is doing.

Action is delicious, you get some gore, some cool camera movements, some really cool action. I haven't seen many of his movies but Venkatesh sir gives a very strong performance. I watched Arya's The Village and I couldn't understand why he is the lead because I felt he is a very weak/bad actor but he is good in this. His looks good in a suit with long hair kicking some serious ass. Andrea Jeremiah not only is a feast for the eyes but she is also a good actor. Only other movies I have seen her in are Master and Vada Chennai. Mukesh Rishi does his thing while Jisshu Sengupta, Ruhani Sharma, Shraddha Srinath, Jayaprakash are good with what they were given.

The father-daughter bond is the emotional core of this film. SaiKo's backstory is like Leo on the surface level. He worked for the mafia and everyone feared him but then he left. On the whole, I really liked the writing in this film and it kept me engaged. For example, I was not expecting them to kill off the daughter. There is a promise of a sequel in the end when the director himself shows up with a script for a movie based on SaiKo. It is really a fun watch and has good stuff to offer action lovers. Atleast you will enjoy Nawaz's presence. They even created a fictional city and a cartel group which proves my assessment that the treatment of this film is like a comic book or a graphic novel. Some of the overhead shots of the city look really good.

Trust me and go for something cool like Saindhav instead of routine masala movies. Please do not listen to critics and others and try to form your own opinion by watching the film.

SAIlesh KOneru has showed SAIndhav KOneru a.k.a. Our beloved hero VICTORY VENKATESH in a super massy heroic way. The heroism all through the movie is amazing.

The father-daughter duo emotions hit us for all the right reasons.

Action sequences are amazing. Special mention to Nawazuddin Siddiqui for keeping the movie lighter with his comedic/brutal villianism.

From 2nd half of 1st half, movie goes to next level. Be patient for the first 30 mins. Venky rampage.

Please go watch it in your nearest theatres for Venky acting/action/daughter emotion.

Seeing venky in such a massy role is a treat to eyes!! Totally massy and action entertainer.. Nawazuddin is crazy! His comic action has kept the whole movie light and entertaining.

Manas aka Arya should have got more scenes ( I expected more from him ).

Andreiah is so gorgeous and hot!🔥🔥🔥Father-daughter duo will definitely make all the audience go emotional. Specially Bujji kondave song has added life to the movie.

Overall I would rate this movie 5/5.

Venky mama is just fantastic as Saindhav aka Saiko, he's absolutely great in the emotional scenes and the action scenes!

Nawaz bhai as the villain was wonderful!! He dubbed the Telugu dialogues perfectly and he was totally apt for the character of Vikas Malik!

Baby Sara is adorable and gives a decent performance.

Shraddha Srinath is beautiful even though she doesn't have much screen time still she does great!

Ruhani Sharma is absolutely gorgeous and stunning, she's also gives a decent performance despite less screen time!

Andrea Jeremiah is hot and stunning, and she's absolutely amazing in her role and in the action scenes!

Jisshu Sengupta and Mukesh Rishiji are good in their roles.

Music and BGM are pretty decent but Santosh sir's music and BGM for Dasara was fantastic. Could have a bit better but Santosh sir still does a decent job!

Sailesh garu's direction is pretty good, story and screenplay are decent. Emotions work well, action scenes are fantastic, VFX is also good and performances are good still the film failed at the box office.

Will the makers make a part 2 or not due to the negative response of the first part ? Let's wait and watch!
