Revolution continues to bring in new characters for its sophomore season and will inevitably go to great lengths to make you either hate or begrudgingly respect them, but either way they will eventually die an egregious death at the hands of whoever the bad guys are going to be. The latest addition to the group is Royal Pains’ Patrick Heusinger, a man so flawlessly handsome that most pilots he becomes attached to are immediately turned down so as not to give any specific network an unfair advantage in the ratings game. But guest-starring roles are okay since this way he can spread his good looks around for everyone.
According to THR, Heusinger will be recurring as Adam, a 30-something, physically fit handsome/roguish man. He’s cool and has a good sense of humor and lives life to its fullest. Essentially he’s been cast to play just your average stud.

Craig Brewer is following his Footloose remake with The Gangster Princess of Beverly Hills, an adaptation of a Rolling Stones article that was published last summer.
The article in question is about Lisette Lee, who pretended to be a heiress to the Samsung fortune, as well as an actress, singer and model. It was later revealed that she faked all of that and in reality was a drug mule. She was caught trafficking 500 pounds of weed into Ohio and was given a six-year sentence. The article was written by Sabrina Rubin Erdely.
Brewer’s Sundance hit Hustle & Flow, led him to direct Black Snake and Footloose. He was one of the writers on the upcoming Tarzan, which is being directed by David Yates. And he’s also directing a pilot episode titled Boomerang for Fox. The pilot stars Felicity Huffman and Anthony Lapaglia.

Michael Stahl-David (Cloverfield) is set to topline Fox‘s drama pilot Boomerang, from John Wells Prods. and Warner Bros TV. Patrick Heusinger also has landed a lead in the project written by Davey Holmes, which is about the Hamiltons, a family who serve as assassins for the federal government. He is forced to return to his family — also paid assassins for the CIA — but is considered a loose cannon by his father Bill and older brother Carl (Heusinger).
