As Eddie Wells is released back into the community, tempers and fears flare, as he refused to accept what he did. DI Ajunwa is convinced that something bad is happening in Chadder Vale, more animals are found, ripped apart.

I can't lie, I'm struggling a bit with it, it really is the most frustrating series I've seen for some time, there's definitely lots of good stuff, an intriguing story, a mystery, end a curious 'sci fi' element, but I am really struggling to put the pieces together.

It's just a little bit all over the place, the storytelling is so muddled and confusing. What's going on with the potholes, are they possibly linked to the fracking? The coughing, is that linked to waste? It needs to come together.

The ending did provide intrigue though.

I really want it to get better.

Writer Andrew Buchan appeared in Broadchurch and he references it here. With Twin Peaks there is a meta element to the show.

After an underwhelming first episode. The appearance of Eddie Wells, fresh out of jail should shake things up. His release has brought back bad memories with some residents.

Especially Jim Bracknell who is still traumatised with events that took place with Eddie. Riya Ajunwa has promised Jim that she will protect him but Eddie saunters into Jim's property.

I did think with that and some less than veiled threats he made to Rija, a police officer. Eddie Wells had breached his parole conditions. He should be back in jail.

As for the rest. Passenger is trying to do too much. A character coughing blood. A teenager stealing money from his mum. Katie Wells temporary disappearance remaining unexplained. Roads having sudden potholes in the woods.

I still do not get a sense of supernatural horror because it is not all coalescing yet.
