This episode is a representation of the whole series - awful.
It seems episodes were written by different people with no information about what happened in other episodes.
For example, in the episode before this one, Hal and Guy were at each other's throats. But in the episode that introduced Guy, the only previous episode in which Guy appeared, Guy and Hal parted ways as good friends.
In the second to last episode, Guy and Killowog were good friends. But in this episode, Guy constantly mocks and ridicules Killowog. Guy's disdain for Hal, however, is gone in this episode.
At the end of last episode, all the GL's including Hal, Killowog and Razer were on or around the planet where the Antimonitor's head had hidden, where Aya took the time device from the Antimonitor's head. In that episode, that planet and OA were far enough from each other that the Guardians told Hal he didn't have time to return to OA - go right to the planet.
But in this episode, Hal and all the other GL's are on OA. When did they go there? Aya was on the way to interfere with the Big Bang, to remove all organic life from the universe. Suddenlt, the GL's had time to go back to OA for a pep talk? When main, epic protagonists become props, a series is floundering. Atrositus was brought back as a prop in an earlier episode. He was supposedly unstoppable, but he became an easily beaten opponent in a gladiator fight.
Aya easily beat the Anti Monitor not once, but twice.
The entire last arc was about Aya having a fit because Razer dumped her, She gained the power to alter the creation of the universe. The entire story line was uninspired, ridiculous, and a hodge podge the non creative producers and writers of this show stole from the work of creative people in comic books.
In the end, Razer went off to find Aya. Thank goodness there was no second season for the rotten brain trust to explore that dud of an idea.
