Stan and the FBI search for their colleague's murderer.
This was a very well written episode that continues the intricacies and irony from the previous episode.
I won't discuss plot specifics not to spoil, but it's safe to say that everything depicted shows the interconnected events escalating. It reflects the chaotic state of life, where seemingly unrelated events collide and have massive implications on people's lives. In the previous episode the Jennings' marriage problems combined with the private life of another character lead to a death. In this one the subsequent investigation impacts heavily on the life of another character. The intwined professional and personal lives of the characters complicate matters as always and such is the irony, I found myself in a number of situations saying 'wow, if he only knew' or 'if she only knew' or 'if it wasn't for this he wouldn't be in that predicament '.
All performances are excellent as always. In this episode Keri Russell stands out for me along with Derek Luke and Noah Emmerich.
The cinematography and editing is very strong, keeping everything interesting and compelling to watch.
For me the episode is an 8.5/10 but I always round upwards.
