Storyline

A highly articulate, erudite and intelligent businessman and mastermind, "Red" Reddington, has allegedly been on the "10 Most Wanted List" of various U.S. law enforcement agencies for over 20 years. The legend is that Red is as elusive as he is clever, controlling a labyrinth of creative enterprises, coupled with uncanny ability to gather and finesse information at the drop of a hat. On the first day at FBI for a new female profiler fresh out of Quantico, Red offers to bandy wits with the FBI. Red promises to deliver various criminals and plots previously unknown to any branch of law enforcement... and all Red requests in return is to choose his muse. Written by LA-Lawyer

Goofs

This show, like many from Hollywood that show a lot of gun use, routinely plays a sound effect of a gun being cocked whenever a gun is seen on screen. Often the gun shown either has no external hammer and cannot make the sound played or it has already been fired, negating the ability to cock it. This sound effect is used by sound editors that lack an understanding of how firearms operate. See more »

A great show spoilt by sub par co-star
6 March 2019 | by jon-evancookSee all my reviews

James Spader is eminently watchable but why did they not kill off Elizabeth Keen when they had the opportunity, her character spoils my overall enjoyment of this show. Surely the writers could find a better way to keep Reddington's ID and motives a mystery.
