In 2002 Elias started exploring the creative and aesthetic possibilities that mathematics, computers, electronics and mechanics can offer to artistic expression. As a result of this research, he developed 'The Mallas' or Electrodynamic nets - dancing metallic mesh structures where lines, points and virtual volumes interplay. In 2006 Dianne Harris created Kinetica Museum, the London's first museum focusing in electronic and kinetic arts, showing two pieces of Paris-based Venezuelan artist Elias Crespin at ¨Lifeforms¨ the opening exhibition of this Museum in October of 2006.
