Outrageous entertainment.

Elliot is stuck on The Island, and being hunted down, it seems that only Fergal can offer any possible chance of escape. Helen does all she can on the mainland to track him down, but is still in shock after what she witnessed.

I'm not even sure how to begin reviewing this episode, it is so incredibly off the wall, and so outrageously over the top, but for entertainment, you simply cannot fault it.

I'd love to know what Irish viewers made of the way they're being depicted here, you'd be made to believe that they're all as mad as marsh hares.

Very entertaining, those chase sequences around the Island looked great, I question why Elliot chose to hide in such a spot, he had lots of options, but opted for the most dangerous.

Is Fergal a little taken with Elliot, is he a little in love, or does he perhaps see him as a possible escape route from a life he's clearly unhappy in.

Francis Magee always does a good job as a villain, and he cannot be faulted once again.

8/10.

great craic, but continuity on the island....

The dialogue is top notch, and the scenes with Feral are great, when Elliot just sees every weak play coming. My one problem with this episode is the island. On the whole setting it in Ireland we know that settings will be swapped around, and Lugalla is hardly acceptable to tourists, but at the same time, the suspension of belief is hard when you're supposedly on an offshore island and it keeps changing its landscape every shot. There aren't sitka spruce plantations on any islands I know of, and from the shot of Eliot on the cliff edge at the start, there's none visible. The size of the island keeps changing and it's kind of annoying. But I suppose the same could be said of the scenes in Australia if a local watched it.
