Hey! Great show idea and show however...why do you have that rude, abusive to everything guy working for you? At best I would set him in a corner sorting junk! You seam like a great guy and fair employer and he makes it difficult to watch the show. I know this is a TV show and a lot of it is most likely scripted. If that is just a bad part he is playing I would ask producers to reconsider. He needs to gain some respect for you and what he does or be replaced. I'm sure there are loads of strong hard working guys that would love that job and be pleasant to work with. A side from him I'd give your show a 10. Keep up the good work, Mary B.

Team leader scores garage (or shed) contents in return for makeover. It's a simple show with fairly accurate valuations. Generally likable team who get on with the job without any over-the-top performances. It's enjoyable and suitable for all ages. Watch it between a couple of heavy dramas and you'll find it a relaxing break.

This type of show has been using for the last couple of years the same clichés over and over : cutting to commercials when the estimated price of an item is about to be said or when a good find is announced. Well Garage Gold takes it to the limit : the preview and credits take about 1 to 2 min, then with the flashback after each cliffhanger/commercial, it's basically 5 min of the show that is absolutely wasted out of a total of 20. You got to have your hand on the mouse to fast forward all this stuff out when watching it on streaming.

It's also a shame that neither the boss nor the in-house-appraiser seem very interested in antiques at all, only in money. The former knows nothing, while the appraiser mostly searches stuff through his computer and has no background knowledge. They're not greedy, because they seem to care about restoring the garages to what the customers want, but they sure could educate themselves a little about antiques and stuff.

To give you an idea, they definitely don't have the passion the guys at American Pickers show, or even at Auction Hunters. They just care about breaking even. This show should be about items, and the families they meet and their story, but it's not. Add the awful editing, and I'm wondering how it's on its 5th season.

Love the guys ...but the value price of many things are so far out of reality. One example is a little tykes ride-on they found...busted tires and we'll used and un-ridable due to the busted tires..wouldn't even be sold at Value Village...they gave a value of $40 when new is only ten dollars more... A plate set that I have that I know the value..tgey gave a value .8 times more than it actually is. I've stopped watching it

I have been a big fan of Garage Gold since it first began. It is much better (to me) than American Pickers because it is not only 'guy stuff'. Unlike another reviewer (who is entitled to her opinion, of course) I like all the weird crew - next to the owner (Greg Banel? I think) I like Captain Ron, but even Tony is okay. Not mean-spirited, just goofy. When I read about how they recycle everything possible and have the plan of keeping things out of the landfill, I was hooked. It is like going to a garage sale with guys you like. Where I live DIY has it on at 3:30 am! I set the DVR and watch old episodes On Demand. Wish it was back in the daytime. Love it!

I enjoy Kraig but it is Ron and Tony that make me laugh! When they dress up with the stuff they find it is always entertaining. I love seeing the treasures that come up in each show or the lack there of. I also enjoy seeing how the guys make the garages over in each show! They do a great job! I would like to see a little more on how they do it.

Even the neat questions they ask during the show are fun - kinda like Jeopardy with answers:) Just a light fun glass of lemonade kind of show:) I like this kind of show because it doesn't have violence like so many other shows do. Everyone is just having a good time! Check it out you might like it!
