(S7. E1) My Live Reaction / Review for The Good Doctor Season 7 Episode 1 ''Baby, Baby, Baby''. The previous season was good and I gave it a rating of 9/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. So now Shaun and Dr. Glassman don't even talk to each other? That sucks. They will use maggots to clean the infected area on that baby? That's disgusting. Eden is sick and it seems pretty serious, that sucks. Shaun found a way to save both babies, that's awesome. Shaun is trying to micromanage everything Lea does with their baby, that's not good. Dr. Glassman and Dr. Lim are both new presidents of the hospital? That's cool. Dr. Glassman and the baby are so cute together. Overall this episode was good and I enjoyed it. My rating is 9/10.

It was not bussin'

Another episode with zero direction, zero character building, every ounce of drama that could have been interesting and could have served as some sort of plot for this season are solved by the end of this episode. Nothing is retained, the hospital is still very empty feeling, no meaningful story.

Also Lea is the IT department head? But she can't unsync the speaker? All the strange coincidences with the babies that tie all the characters together, Shaun, from his POV out of nowhere apologizes for his behaviour, which was not even discussed in this episode... all of this leads to a very underwhelming viewing experience. Clearly all the writers have checked out or are severely burnt out.

If I want pointless soap opera, there is Grey's Anatomy.

Even with the Chorizo, this was not bussin'.
