- After taking a mob accountant's laptop, Oliver plans to return the money to its rightful owners. Felicity however finds that Dominic Alonzo - the operator of an illegal casino and the head of a gang known for kidnapping - was paid $2 million to kidnap Walter. Arrow pays him a visit and is told that Walter is dead. He tells his mother and Thea but Moira rushes to Malcolm Merlyn demanding to know why he broke their agreement. He assures her that Walter is alive and will be released as long as she continues to cooperate. Oliver is listening to the entire conversation and now knows that his mother is involved, just as Digg had warned him. Flashbacks reveal Malcolm's plan and also the the sinking of Robert Queen's luxury yacht was no accident. Laurel meanwhile tries to make up with Tommy and finally learns the real reason he broke up with her.—garykmcd
- Open with Arrow busting a dirty accountant. He brings the man's laptop to Felicity so she can return stolen money to its rightful owners. She asks Queen about the split with Diggs. Queen isn't interested in taking the first step to repair the relationship.
We are six months into Walter's disappearance. While talking to Thea, Moira has a flashback to a meeting at their home before the stock offering. During the meeting Malcolm tells everybody that what they've been doing to fix the Glades hasn't been working. His plan is to destroy the Glades in order to completely rebuild. He tells them of a company called Unidac Industries, which is five years away from a project that could help them create a natural disaster.
Queen advises Laurel to talk to Tommy and "be honest." Felicity walks in with news for Queen.
Felicity has hacked King Fidelity. It looks like one of his clients was paid $2 million to kidnap Walter. The money points to a Dominic Alonzo, who runs the biggest underground casino in town. He also has a history of kidnapping. Queen thinks the only way is to access Alonzo's computer inside his casino. Felicity demands she be given the chance to pull it off.
Another flashback. Robert tells Malcolm he doesn't like his idea. Malcolm remembers the death of his wife Rebecca, who was killed in the Glades.
Felicity drops by Diggs' place and asks him to come back and help them with their lead on Walter. She tells him that Queen needs him, but Diggs says he's waiting to hear it from Queen himself.
Laurel pays Tommy a visit at his office. She thinks they should face their problems together and wants some honesty. He tells her she "belongs with Oliver."
Queen and Felicity go to Alonzo's casino, with the plan being her to get caught counting cards, get a warning from management and gain access to the system. She goes inside alone and has Queen speaking to her in her ear.
Moira meets with Malcolm, who has news for her. He says the Markov device passed its beta test and is on its way to the city. He thanks her for her support and mentioned "your and I will always have a connection." He apologizes for taking Robert from her, but she takes credit for his death.
Another flashback. Robert tells Moira about Malcolm's plan to destroy the Glades. He says she doesn't know who he really is and tells her a story about accidentally killing a Glades politician when he asked for a bribe. Moira makes him promise he won't let it happen.
Felicity is crushing the blackjack table. A security guard brings her to see Alonzo. He kicks her out, but she manages to plant a device on his computer. He spots her ear piece and smashes it on the ground. This leads to Arrow bursting into the casino and fighting his way to Alonzo's office. Alonzo tells Arrow he heard the gunshot that killed Walter.
Queen tells Moira and Thea he heard from one of Diggs' army buddies who has a connection with the FBI that Walter is dead. Moira says she needs to leave and walks out. Thea weeps in Queen's arms.
Another flashback. Robert tells Frank he thinks there is an option besides killing thousands of people. Using a company called Sagittarius he has purchased about a third of the Glades. If they can purchase the rest Malcolm won't have the leverage needed to make his project work. Also in the flashback Laurel talks to Queen about wanting to move their relationship forward by living together. He likes the idea.
In present day a furious Moira yells at him for breaking his word about Walter still being alive. He shows her a closed caption camera shot of Walter. He then talks about their agreement and both being "in this together" and we see that Arrow has been listening to the entire thing.
Felicity returns to HQ to find Queen sitting by himself. He tells her that Walter's is actually alive and asks her to look at Malcolm's phone records. The call he made when Moira was in his office was to a housing project guarded by three men.
Arrow parachutes onto the roof of the house where Walter is being held. He takes out about ten guards and enters Walter's room. He disguises his voice and tells Walter "you're going home."
Walter is reunited with Moira, Thea and Queen at the hospital.
We have a flash back of Robert saying good-bye to Moira before leaving on his boat. Queen is a last-minute addition to the trip. Laurel stops by to good-bye to Queen and brings him a picture of him. This is all while Queen is arranging for her sister to join him on the trip. We see that Malcolm and Frank were behind the Queen's Gambit going down.
In present day Malcolm stops by the hospital asking about Walter. Queen has to bite his lip as Malcolm asks if Walter has said anything about his kidnappers. Laurel drops by looking a little flustered. She tells him about what Tommy said. She wants him to say he's not still in love with her. He says he can't, "because it wouldn't be true." Laurel gasps.
Queen stops by to see Diggs and apologizes. He tells him about Moira working with Malcolm and says he needs Diggs' help to stop whatever it is they're working on.
