It's a 20 minute commercial
gregrrich9 May 2021
Between the constant giggling/awkward one-liners and sponsor plugs, there's literally zero content to this show. I want to like it so badly, but they show the viewer absolutely nothing technical. In fact, they actually tell the viewer they'll save us from seeing that part. That's what we watch shows like this for. Instead, we get a show that features two girls whose interaction is so bad you may as well turn the volume off - fast forward thru every sponsor plug, and you end up with 5 minutes of content about what they apparently did to a car between commercial breaks. I thought Wheeler Dealer had sold out, but I'll take that any day over this.

If you want a few minutes of show and the rest of your time watching advertising, this was made for you. A real shame because the girls have great skills.

Get Rid of Faye

Faye ruins the show! She is so annoying and fake! Faye gigles too much and makes weird faces! I would watch if she wasnt a host! My 10 year old daughter is more mature than she is!

Why Faye?

My guess is that she knows or is related to someone in an important position.... The show used to be awesome with Cristy Lee and Rachel DeBarros. All they need to do is bring Rachel back. They'd have me back as a faithful fan again. I just can't take the hair... The eye makeup... The semi baby talk that brings on the fake lisp... I could go on. It's just not good. I was watching car fix today and got caught seeing most of today's show and it did not disappoint as far as hair, and baby talk morphing into the lisp, eye makeup, the whole enchilada! So I went and found something else to do. I'll be back for 4wheeler.

Stop the giggling and the voice changes it's not a cartoon show
clhatchell21 January 2023
Stop the giggling. I've already sent one in and every time I tried to send it it would not go through I blame this on the producers and whoever lets this show pass through before it gets to the TV please stop the cartoon antics you don't have to change your voice every time you speak you're not a cartoon character everything is not funny every time you say something the giggling constantly you girls are professionals be that that's the reason I watch the show is to learn and every girl in the world that watches is more interested in learning than the antics so please please stop the giggling enough already go back to professional professional.

Faye is a nightmare just waiting to happen! I used to watch this show, but can't watch this atrocity any more. Why would Motor Trend let this disaster continue? And where did Car Fix leave the rails? Ugh. Thanks for nothing Motor Trend...

I think these women could rebuild a star ship for better acceleration
jrbpsg31 January 2020
I tripped across season 8 and was mesmerized by the knowledge and skills these women have. I've repaired a couple engines, replaced brakes, other things, but these people are several levels above the stuff that I've done. I sat through the season in 2 sittings thinking how do they know that, how do they do that and trying to piece how I might get close to understanding what they know for different things. Someone told them to smile a lot, which was OK, especially when compared to the grunting and bull you have to listen to on a men's repair show to do simple things compared to the work done on this series. The next time I see my real mechanic, I'll ask if he's seen this series (not the guys who change my oil, etc.).
