Unlike his other appearances, Goofy is depicted as having a tail in this series, more like his earliest appearances in Mickey Mouse cartoons, back when he was called "Dippy Dawg."
All episodes taking place in a foreign country are presented in that country's native language, often without subtitles.
Due to recent passing of Russi Taylor, the show was put in hiatus after the 5th season ended in July 2019, then it was eventually cancelled officially in September 2020 even after a 6th season was already confirmed in favour of a similar show for Disney+.
The overall design of the series is based on the classic Mickey shorts of the thirties, including the "notched" eyes popular in those old cartoons.
Due to the producers wanting a performance closer to Mickey's original voice actor, Walt Disney, Chris Diamantopoulos took on the role for these shorts in place of Mickey's current voice actor Bret Iwan.
