Chris Bauer's episode !
giguerm3 September 2023
Even though Wild Bill (superbly played by Bauer) is always entertaining, this episode shows an entire different and softer side of him. I'm not a fan of flashbacks episodes but this one for me, is the backbone that this great series needed. Yes, the brothers are doing their best to keep their father's business alive but to know what has happened before all this and the important role that Bill played gives the show a depth that makes you appreciate some characters even more.

I'm glad that Wild Bill has a good storyline this season because Chris Bauer is giving a mesmerizing performance as the has-been but beloved wrestler with a heart of gold.

Terrific episode. Flashback scene were well acted , very informative and created even more questions! Great casting of younger characters. Hope we seem them again! They knocked it out of the park !!! Young Bill, Willie and Tom were great in building the tension and disappointment that are the building blocks of how these character got to where they are today!! Chris Bauer was excellent as always!!! He should get an Emmy nomination for his Performance!!!!! Alice Barrett is doing a great job in making me really dislike Carol!!!!

Loved season 1! Loving season 2 even more! Hoping for a season3!!!

S2.E6 - Flashbacks and More Flashbacks... [6/10]

Warning: Spoilers
(S2. E6) My Live Reaction / Review for Heels Season 2 Episode 6 ''Appearances''. Episode 5 was good and I gave it a rating of 8.6/10. Wild Bill has wisdom and he is sharing it with the boys, I like it. This guy from the streaming service is interested in the DWL, that's good news. In this episode we see flashbacks with Tom Spade, not a big fan of these flashbacks to be honest. This episode has so much filler with Tom Spade flashbacks, it sucks. Wild Bill is an actor too? I didn't know that. I wanted to see what happens now not all these flashbacks. Once again with Tom's suicide? We get it, he died, move on. The writers don't know what they're doing. Overall this episode was mediocre, my rating is.. 6/10.
