Just doesn't cut it without Blake. Also, how does a newcomer rate first chair? My opinion is the lead chair should have gone to John. I used to record and watch all Voice episodes. Can't even make it through one anymore. Gwen is and has always been ridiculous, incapable of making a decision on her own and hard to stomach. I might have tried to hang on with Blake leaving if Kelly had remained on the show. Reba's facial expressions are borderline creepy. Sorry but I just can't tune in any longer.......maybe I'll try again in the future but not now. If I have to be subjected to one more of Gwen's ridiculous outfits and see her put up one more hand heart emoji I think I'm gonna puke!

The post-Blake Shelton era has arrived for The Voice. It will take some getting used to, but I am not that worried as he was admittedly kind of phoning it in the last few years.
The show was fine, but I don't know if there are any breakout stars in this bunch. Mara Justine gave a great performance at the end that will have replay value, but I don't know if her style will translate to a win or post-show success.
Kristen Brown was okay, but there were some pitch issues that brought things down. Her personality after the performance seemed upbeat and happy which was kind of different than her singing though.
