Around the same time as early production on Can't Stop the Water, Beasts of the Southern Wild shot scenes on Isle de Jean Charles. Also, Isle de Jean Charles was the geographical inspiration for the fictional "Bathtub," called Isle de Charles Doucet, in that film.
