Warning: Spoilers
First of all, everybody is entitled to their own opinion, but I am nevertheless surprised by how badly that episode was received on this forum. I do agree with the fact that it was a below-average episode. Despite the interesting premise of the episode, the plot seems rushed and the writing is not up to the standard it usually is. The ending was the part, about which most people were complaining, and yes it was rather unsatisfactory since the cheaters basically won. Nonetheless, the meaning of the episode is always bound to your subjective interpretation. Therefore one could also see this episode as a message to stand up for yourself (going to court) and despite the fact, that the world can be an unfair place, you still stay true to your own virtues (helping Pesto with his flat tire). I overall still enjoyed the episode because I enjoy the Belchers no matter what. :)

Bob takes a plethora of physical and emotional pratfalls proving as always, the more you hurt someone without killing them the funnier it is!

Worst episode of the show

Warning: Spoilers
First of all I would like to point out I've never written a review before or even voted on anything. This is actually the first time I've logged in in years.

Family Fracas starts with the Belchers driving around when their car breaks down. Naturally, Jimmy Pesto makes fun of their broken car. They join a family game show and compete against another family. Upon winning the contest they get a chance of winning a new minivan by spinning a wheel of fortune. They don't win the van, but because they won the contest they get to return for another show. After beating various families in different episodes of the game show, they find out Jimmy Pesto and his family are their next opponents. Jimmy Pesto wins by cheating and also immediately wins the minivan.

Bob suspects foul play and takes the Pesto family, along with the game show host who helped them cheat, to a fake court, which is another TV show on the same network. Bob asks for a video tape to be shown that should contain evidence of Pesto and the host cheating. Before it can be shown, the producer of the family game show destroys the tape. Jimmy Pesto wins the case.

At the end of the episode, Bob witnesses Jimmy Pesto being unable to change the tire on his minivan and makes fun of him. Bob's family tells him not to make fun of Pesto and forces him to help him change the tire. That is how the episode ends.

This episode is absolutely atrocious. Instead of amusing me, it left me angry and frustrated. The message this episode sends is unimaginably horrible. Pesto made fun of Bob, got away with cheating and won the minivan. The game show host also got away with cheating and destroying evidence. Bob got completely humiliated throughout the entire episode. It enraged me to see how he would passively accept all wrong done to him. Bob's family didn't support him in the end, but instead stood up for the cheating bully Jimmy Pesto, who continued to make fun of Bob even as he changed his tire.

You can draw your own conclusions as to what kind of message this sends, but I'm certainly done with this show for now. This episode isn't worth anyone's time. Avoid at all costs. Not just the worst episode of this show, but a serious contender for worst episode I've seen on any show, ever.

So bad I wrote a review

Warning: Spoilers
I love this show but this episode had no point whatsoever, it was one of the worst episodes of a TV show I have ever seen.

Avoid if possible and go straight to episode 20 from 18, missing this ridiculously boring and pointless episode.

There are a few laughs in relation to Tina and her sexual tension with Jimmy Jnr.

However, overall the episode is bad, just plain bad writing, the episode appears only to have a beginning and no real end.

I gave this episode 1 star but really I would have given it none if I could, maybe I am just being harsh but it is 20 minutes of my life I am not getting back, but maybe this review will save yours!

No wonder this episode is hated

Warning: Spoilers
I love Bob's Burgers but this episode was pretty awful. I admit, the first half of the episode was okay. But it gets so much worse. The game show "Family Fracas" that the Belchers are on, is on Channel 13, which is where Chuck works. And he's understandably angry about the events in Beefsquatch. But it still doesn't excuse what he does later. The Pestos ended up joining the game, and it's later revealed that he cheated, and that Chuck helped with it. Bu the way, before this happened, we get a very awkward kissing scene with Chuck and his boss. Then we get to the court scene, and it's probably the worst part in the whole episode. When Bob nearly wins the case with evidence, Chuck and his boss destroy the tape. And Pam was basically forced to call Chuck innocent. Making the Belchers unfairly losing. And the end with Bob helping with the van, and him getting insulted was horrible. Personally, this is one of if not my least favorite episode.

How can this episode have a 7.6 rating? It is horrible
jimbelina11 June 2015
This is the worst episode of any television show that I have ever seen. Everything goes wrong for Bob and everybody in the episode that is being dishonest and/or cheating seems to be getting rewarded. That would be acceptable if the episode included some message like "good does not always overcome evil" or something like that, but it contained no message whatsoever. Seems like an unfinished script. Piece of garbage.

Just to give you an idea of how bad this is, I have been using IMDb since it's inception in 1990, back when it was a text-based application used on green screens (before browsers came along). I have never in all of my years of watching TV and movies felt so compelled to write a review. But this episode was so bad that I just had to.

How do I vote zero? Or negative?

Most F'd up Bob's Burgers episode to date
cumpeled16 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I thought that a lot of the silly Louise tactics and behavior took the cake, in most of the worst episodes... next to Gene's ignorance (but at least you can write Gene off as "challenged".. but for the clear cheating by Bob's nemesis, Jimmy, with the help of the studio and then the "burning of the tape" in front of the judge.. just too ridiculous. A family that needed and earned the new van. Reminds me of the comic strip "The born loser". No win for this family, no matter the circumstance. Very annoying. What's the entertainment or purpose in watching clearly predictable plots, every show?

Awful episode!!!!!!!!!!! spoiler

Warning: Spoilers
This episode sucked! Bobs family win on a game show until his rival plays against them and wins. The host of the game show helped them cheat. They go to a tv court show and lose the case because the game show host and his boss destroy a video tape that had evidence they cheated. That's basically how the episode ended. Like what was the point of the episode? That cheaters always win. I thought this show was funny and cute until I saw this episode. I won't be watching this show anymore.

The overall rating on IMDb is sadly much higher than what it deserves
10086cn18 August 2021
Procedural rating and review - it is currently (as of August 18, 2021) at 7.4 stars on IMDb, way too high for this episode. Hopefully we, the reviewers, can bring the overall rating down lower and lower to what it truly deserves.

The fact that ITV2 is currently planning on airing this episode of Bob's Burgers tonight (August 18, 2021 at 8:30pm) is already itself a problem and a huge smack in the face. Doesn't ITV2 have any shame in what they broadcast? I refuse to (re)watch this garbage and filth, and will be reporting this to Ofcom who can hopefully do something about this.
