Warning: Spoilers
A hero cop, who didn't fire a shot, apprehended a robber and probably saved the lives of the people in a store is brought up on charges of drinking while carrying a gun just before the incident. A judge rules that he is to be removed from the force. What is Frank Regan to do?

For leading a demonstration, Erin's daughter, an honor student, is threatened with suspension and Danny shows determination and compassion by believing in the accused, despite the fact that the latter has blood on his shirt from the victim, his fiancée.

The episode, as usual, is a good one as it deals with human emotions, ethical questions, and a quest for justice.

Double Standard
Originator199422 January 2015
In watching this episode again, I find it yet again interesting that there seems to be a double standard for the Reagan clan. At the dinner table once again, discussing an on-going case in front of others not involved (unprofessional and unacceptable ) they are focusing in on the fact that law enforcement personnel must be basically on call 24/7 and therefore shouldn't be drinking while off duty so what does this family do each Sunday at the dinner table.? Drink. How ,many times has Danny left the table after receiving a call to go to a crime scene or to work ? Many...and what has has he been doing prior to that call ? Drinking wine...and while at it, Jamie and their dad, the P.C. have also been doing the same so guess the rules don't apply to them, once again. .
