A good one time watch
priyashashank7925 February 2024
Okay so I waited for all episodes to air so I could binge watch this series, I like Leo Wu a lot, he is one of the few actors who I feel can act so well without uttering a single word, his eyes speak his dialogues, and he conveys a lot from his face. It was my first time watching Zhao Jin Mai, and she didn't disappoint either, though I would say the emotions of the ML one upped hers, probably because he is a slightly better actor. I loved most of the characters, but I especially loved the character of Wang Xing Yue, who I liked in other shows as well. His character was great and his acting spot on. The eight stars are mainly for the superb actors, everyone very good looking and some great at acting as well, two stars less because the show seemed slow to progress, a lot of romance and a lot of sport, with no convincing story. Sport lovers might love this show more, I would have appreciated a little more depth to the story. I was happy a lot of the series was shown to be shot in Finland, with lots of English dialogues, and thankfully Leo Wu's English is so much better than some other actors'. Overall, a great one-time-watch, nothing much to write back home about though! Watch it if you love Leo Wu and slow burn romances.

The charm - undeniably chemistry of Wu Lei and Zhao Jinmai.
rhapzoedy23 February 2024
The perfect natural chemistry of the leads is the main selling point. Wu Lei and Zhao Jinmai off the chart chemistry resonates well with the audience. Both actors have the most expressive eyes that captures the viewers. You believe in their character and you believe in their romance. A kind of pairing that is effortlessly real - a force to be reckoned with.

The beautiful cinematography and blending of the right music really matches well with the tone of every scene. Amidst a snowstorm of love hits all the right notes. There's something with the way the story is told that is addictive. Undoubtedly, one of the most romantic series. A must watch...

Very qualified and sweet modern drama
Shirny22 February 2024
A very qualified and sweet modern drama, I feel it's surpassing even the sweetness portrayed in the novel.

Especially the male lead Wu Lei, embodies my ideal type with his sharp eyebrow starry eyes, and captivating jawline, despite his youthfulness, he exudes a strong sense of masculinity.

Both leads deliver very stable performances that are both sweet and convincing. The plot avoids excessive melodrama and unnecessary separations to ensure audience satisfaction; it is a very decent drama.

Particularly noteworthy is Wu Lei's transformation into a truly sexy and charming character as he matures throughout the drama. His tender affectionate gaze towards the female lead deeply immerses me in their love story! He portrays an enamored boyfriend who longs for possession of his beloved woman.

Amazing Cdrama
lakshmiaruns13 April 2024
Amidst the snow storm of love Is a fantastic C drama with amazing leads especially Wu lei.. He is absolutely stunning in his role. He is one of the best artists ... story is so good and loved the cast... a must watch C drama. Gives Hidden love vibes... Wu lei as Liiyang holds your breath... loved him very much In legendary Love like the galaxy... He is a phenomenal and now this series is one of my most favourite... Zhao jinmai is also good in her role, cute... Along with this there are bunch of handsome men around the leads... Story is so clean and their bonding with each other is so sweet to watch... Episode 1 seems bit slow but later picks up quickly... Overall it is one the Best C dramas I have watched recently... Recommend watching 😊

SO IN LOVE WITH THIS DRAMA!
pasineev5 May 2024
I'm soooooooo in love with this drama and all the cast that I re-watched it almost 10 times already. I love the love and understanding between Lin Yiyang and Yin Guo, and the friendship of all character. It gave me the positive vibe and I was happy, smiling every time I watched it, even didn't want it to end. Of all the drama I have ever watched, this is my no. 1, the best romantic drama.

I have become the fan of the actors and actresses in this drama now, not only Wu Lei and Zhao Jinmai, but also Chen Jingke (I really like the scene he said "Wo Dong Le". Hahaha. He's really funny.), Han Donglin, Wang Xingyue, Dong Zifan, etc. I hope they collab again in other drama soon.

You should've watch it. It's green forest 🌿🍃
fadhilrayyan2 May 2024
The chemistry is just on another level. All of the actors is just something, it's felt like it's not an acting at all. The main character will make you giggling in every second. Like every second, feels like there is a butterfly in my stomach 🦋🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 it's on of the best C-Drama I've been watched. And the best C-Drama in 2024 so far.

Lin Liyang, will make u want to have a boyfriend like him, he is the green forest. Oh, I've not telling about what this drama about. Well, it's about a pro billiard athlete (Lin Liyang), who is retired and move away to Finland (if I'm not mistaken the country) and then meet our heroine (Yin Guo) who also pro billiard athlete. And you should watch to know what happen next. Haha.

Sorry but this drama is boring
thespira7 March 2024
Sorry but despite all my best efforts I've dropped the drama. Everything is wrong. The world of snooker is boring as hell, the characters fly all the way to Finland to eventually meet only Chinese people and not take advantage of this beautiful country. They eat all the time just for the sake of it and there is a lot of empty moments. Yes the main couple is sweet etc but it's a far cry from a hit like Hidden Love.

All the secondary characters are superficial as well.

My last straw when he takes her to see the sky in a special island. They are blatantly in France in Annecy! There are many other c drama out there that deserve more attention.

I rewatched 3 times addicted
lorareed-1379716 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The best romance drama ever. I am so so addicted. ML is captivatingly handsome and draws you end with his affection towards the FL. Their chemistry is intense. I loved ML in the Longest Ballad & Love Like the Galaxy but this is another level. Female lead chemistry with ML is undeniably sweet and natural. I love watching this drama because it makes me smile. I get goosebumps. Both leads are talented. The setting, the plot, everything is beautiful. Perfect cast.... Never bored.. I rewinded so many scenes to rewatch. I will rewatch it again in the near future.... Happy from beginning to end... their love was so pure... no breakups.

Female lead acts childish. A big turn off.
eyeamdust19 March 2024
I almost abandoned this series several times because of the female lead. The male lead is in his 30s, and she's supposedly in her 20s and yet she acts like a teenager who's never been kissed and maybe doesn't know even how to kiss and even gets angry with him when he advances.. A better lead would have been somebody who .more closely matched his maturity. Her body language in all of the scenes was ridiculous, except for in the scenes when she's actually playing billiards. If it weren't for her, I would have truly enjoyed this sweet romance. The male lead and all of the supporting actors did a great job..

A struggle to watch...
lightfighter928 March 2024
Despite all the rave reviews, I REALLY struggled to watch this drama. The meet cute of love at first sight is not my favorite trope, but it can be good if done right (Descendants of the Sun, Strong Woman, Go Go Squid. Etc...). Here it seemed unreasonable and forced.

I was not fond of the Female Lead (FL) either. I just would have liked to have seen the Male Lead (ML) paired with someone who was not one dimensional and who could have matched his intensity, at least a little bit. I think Leo Wu's infatuated stare works best with FLs with a little more energy and reciprocation. Among other actresses, I come back to Estelle Chen who also had a very small, intense scene with him in Love Like the Galaxy.

Let's face it, with his longing looks, Leo Wu could make a tree fall in love with him. I might have preferred a tree opposite him in this. At least it wouldn't have kept dodging him every time he tried to get close. Throughout, it seemed the ML was dragging the FL through most of the scenes.

The slow pace is also an issue for me. While I do appreciate these types of dramas, and I do like them sometimes, I have to be in the right mood and patience to watch them. Overall, this series may tug at your heartstrings...if it doesn't put you to sleep first.

For the record, because of the hype, I tried to watch this several times, but after numerous attempts, I had to let it go. Summed up: This series is like hating tomatoes (LAFS trope, FL, slow pacing), knowing you hate tomatoes, but having everyone tell you to just try it, you're going to love it, but in the end, you not only still hate tomatoes, you're mad.

2 Stars. 1 for Effort. 1 for Leo Wu.

Nothing happens
Ch-67522 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This drama really went on for far too long, and nothing happens. It's really slow. You wait for something to happen and nothing really ever does. It might have been because of the subject of billiards being not very interesting. The main characters were sweet and I can see what they were trying to do in terms of girl comes along and wins the heart of troubled boy, but they didn't quite have the spark for me. It was way too low energy, too many awkward and cringe moments. The actors didn't quite have the chemistry, the most emotional bit was when their coach died which made me think maybe Wu Lei is a better actor than this drama was allowing him to be. The end was heartwarming and I'm glad they left China as they did look more comfortable together in the place they met.

I gave this some stars because the locations they shot this at were beautiful and I feel inspired to visit Finland.
