These scenes from Kayden Kross's "Deeper" series offer enough novelty with a touch of the cryptic to initially grab the viewer, but typically soon devolve into gonzo porn, meaningless and self-indulgent.
One of the four vignettes, titled "First Fantasy", is the odd man out. It stars Scarlit Scandal and a newcomer, presumably her real-life paramour, Chris Scandal, as a couple of actors rehearsing a script but quickly reverting to having sex together. The uneventful XXX scene is credited to a director named "W. C. Walker", whoever that may be, not Ms. Kross.
Kayden appears for a few seconds on screen in a mysterious scene "Knots", starring beautiful Anna Claire Clouds. Also directed by Kayden, it's intentionally vague, just hinting at things. It appears to be a period piece, in that Anna listens to mixtapes on audio cassettes and co-star, big-dicked Oliver Flynn, is dressed in navy whites as a new guy rooming in Kayden & Anna's house -I inferred that KK was playing Anna's mom. Immediately after meeting him, Anna has black & white erotic fantasies of humping handsome Oliver, and of course ends up doing so. Scarlit is curious as to what's going on whereas as Kenzie just accepts her sort of indentured servant fate, and it turns out that kinky Swingers' BDSM parties are the source of their employment, resulting in a 3-way sex scene with black swinger Troy Francisco, who wanders into their room. An intriguing premise in service of mere gonzo sex.
The remaining scene is titled "Call Your Wife", an exercise in the overused porn trope of making sex while on the phone with someone who's unaware of what's happening. Nia Nacci humps Markus Dupree while she perversely has him on the phone with his wife -we hear her voice prattling on about silly stuff while she doesn't know of his simultaneous infidelity. This is moderately titillating for the viewer, but has little to no impact given that the gimmick so often pops up as the "story" for a porn scene.
