This 'My Hero' show which this episode was the first of sadly never seemed to catch on as an occasional series.
Miranda Hart has always said that she, like millions of others, is a huge fan of Eric Morecambe, so it was fascinating to see her learn more about his life/career, and the impact he continues to have on the comedy world after his sad death back in the 80's.
Miranda's joy about the whole search, and clear love of her subject makes this programme so much more than a tribute, and even as a fan I learnt a lot about the great man.
