HOLLOWS WOOD is an attempt to do a British drama film on a very low budget. The story concerns blackmail, family ties, and unscrupulous property developers, and is told in a well-paced and quite interesting way. It's a bit stagy as it's merely a sequence of dialogue scenes that take place in different settings, but the cast members are quite likable and a lot of effort has clearly gone into this to make it a professional-looking production. It's a bit on a short side, clocking in at approximately 50 minutes, but there are some Jackie Chan-style outtakes at the end.
