Chef Rocky went on to open his own restaurant in Everett in 2013, called Ole Soul Southern Creole. Despite his laziness in the kitchen and excuses at Prohibition, reviews at various online sites have been quite positive (as of late 2014). [EDIT] Rocky's restaurant, Ole Soul Creole, which was located just down the street from the Prohibition Gastropub, permanently closed in September, 2017 due to "serious medical emergencies".
Prohibition Grille was renamed Prohibition Gastropub, and sold to new owners in late 2016 and operated under the same name. A year later, the restaurant was sold again to new owners who spent five months renovating it. The restaurant was renamed Abbott's and is today one of the most expensive restaurants in Everett, with entrees ranging between $31 and $50. [February 2020]
Abbott's Restaurant (the former Prohibition Grille/Prohibition Gastropub) permanently closed in June, 2020. Lost revenue due to the Coronavirus pandemic, was cited as the reason for the closure. [2021]
