Coll vs Geel, at the MCG.

Nick Daicos potentially out for the season, a massive blow for the Pies. Hawkins, Blicavs and Jack Henry out for the Cats. Cameron gets the opener for Geelong and Duncan getting a lot of time and space. Cameron with a quality snap, for his third goal of the term. Geelong out to a handy lead early, though the margin 16 at the quarter break. Injuries piling up for Collingwood and their most important players. Dangerfield with some quality extraction, but it's Mihocek with good goals for the Pies and has 3 for the half. Collingwood cutting the deficit to just 1 by the half. The Pies gets 4 quick goals early in the 3rd and Geelong without a goal for some time, til Cameron bananas one through from the boundary. The Pies defense holding up well without Moore and Collingwood take a 24 lead going into 3-quarter time. Dangerfield starts to takeover the 4th and Cameron with a good goal on the boundary. Turnovers and some inexperience costs the Cats in the end, as the depleted Pies get over the line by 8 points. The hit-outs were even, Geelong +8 in the clearances, Collingwood with more of the footy and 10 more tackles applied. The Cats with 6 more inside 50's, for 1 less scoring shot. Dangerfield best afield for the losing side, with 26 disposals, 9 clearances, 11 inside 50's, 531 metres gained, 2 assists and a goal. Cameron 14 disposals and 7 goals. Atkins 34 disposals, 8 clearances, 8 tackles and 7 intercepts. For the Pies, Mihocek 5 straight goals. Quaynor 22 disposals, 7 intercepts and 427 metres gained. Murphy 2 contested marks and 7 intercepts.
