I enjoyed this journey through the Pyrénées: beautiful landscapes and nice encounters.
There are many interesting aspects of this region: the discovery of the nature ( Walfroy Constant and the ice climbing o a frozen waterfall at the Pic du Midi, Pierre Meyer, the photographer of the snowy mountains, Joël Casteran , the mountain guide and his sensory experiences with the tourists., Aurélie Peynet and the yoga practice in the nature), the revival of the village of Aulon (Benjamin Amiot and its local brewery, Julien Bergua and its restaurants, Jean-Bertrand Dubarry, the mayor, Maëlle the teacher who introduces the children to the life of the nature). Manon Luneau , the nature educator who makes sensoy experiences with her visitors and practices the nature therapy with Alzheimer's patients), Catherine Flurin, the beekeeper and the virtues of the honey and the propolis, Régis Latapie (the boxwood and the making of tradional flites), the polyphonic singing in the Pyrénées ( the " Avista de nas " choir and the concert in the Roman Church, the thermal resort of Bagnères-de-Bigorre (the famous guests like Montaigner),the thermal waters of Barèges (the sulfur rich waters and the healing of the soldiers).
I enjoyed the encounters of Sophie with Sandy Mossion , with Frédéc and Aymeric Desbrée (the husky dogs, the dog sled tour) ,with Louisette Corret (the garbure), with Régis Latapie and with the polyphonic singers, with Damien Lafond-Puyo the waever at Luz-Saint Sauveur , with the sheep breeder Denis Laporte, with Aude Lapierre, the sisiter of Damien, the seamstress and fashion designer , with Aurélien Cartade , the manager of the grocery "Chez Gabrielle and with Jonathan Rebouillat (the origami specialist and the looking for the bearded vulture); very nice encounters with very kind French men and women.
