On a stormy Friday night in suburban Virginia, two neighbors each navigate an evening of disappointments and missed connections, oblivious to each other's misfortunes, until each is drawn to the rooftop of their apartment building by a mysterious, ethereal sound. A melody wafting into the night sky. One by one, others appear in their windows and on their balconies, each alone, swaying, dancing, enthralled by the music. Through this shared, inexplicable moment, the characters find connection, empathy, and rediscovered purpose. The skies begin to clear, as a meteor streaks across the starry night sky.
