Ghosts all over the place
I was surprised to discover this Asia Carrera I had never heard of (and I just added it to IMDb today), an okay ghost story. Nothing to write home about, but pleasant enough porn with a story.
The story turns out to be a bit confusing, as usually reliable screenwriter Marin Brimmer (a/k/a Rodger Jacobs) gets the classification of ghosts contradicting itself by movie's end. Anyway, without spoiling suspense, we have the married couple of artist Jonathan Morgan and Asia Carrera obsessed with ghosts, who they like to watch making love (the ghosts are the lovers).
Jonathan is described as an artist who came up with the color Spectral Blue which he claims is the color of ectoplasm. They live in a haunted house, and most of the movie takes place via flashback six months earlier when realtor Blake Palmer (the handsome stud has a severely prematurely receding hairline here) sells them their attractive home.
It indeed proves to be haunted and Asia in particular enjoys watching the ghosts get down -she's a voyeuse who masturbates while observing. Things get complicated later in the show when Asia has sex with a ghost (Alyssa Allure, who despite her stage name is not appealing to look at) in a bathtub, after which the line between the living and the denizens of the spirit world becomes quite blurred.
Asia looks great and Morgan plays the movie completely straight -not a single joke or making a funny face.
