Lowak
Lowak opens in 1200 AD in what is now Alabama. The Choctaw Indians are playing a lacrosse type game. All I can think is despite all these sporting activities. That tribe had one hell of an obesity problem back then!
In the present day Maya unaware that Kingpin is still alive. Wants to bring down his gang. She allies with Biscuits (Cody Lightning) for help on a mission.
She jumps on a moving train at night to plant a bomb in some box. It goes off in New York in one of Kingpin's warehouses.
That was the exciting action sequence for the episode. All done in the dark so you could not see much.
The rest is establishing different kinds of relationships back at Maya's hometown. Grandpa Skully makes a new prosthetic leg for Maya after the previous one is damaged. Grandma Chula and Maya's previous best friend all learn she is back.
The intriguing one is uncle Henry, the brother of Maya's dad who runs the Roller rink. He would have some connection with Kingpin once.
The episode was not that great. It is still doing heavy lifting with establishing characters and mood. This has been a big problem with other Disney+ Marvel shows. Too much time spent in padding out the story.
